The Tina Turner Musical is the first musical about her life, produced in collaboration with Tina Turner herself. How a girl from Nutbush, Tennessee, grew into the undisputed ‘Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ – this is the musical of a go-getter who didn’t play by the rules, but made them herself. This is the real, uncompromising story of Tina Turner. The woman who defied all prejudices about age, colour and gender.

Tina Turner is one of the best-selling artists in the world. She has won 11 Grammy Awards and her live shows attracted millions of people. She sold more concert tickets than any other solo artist.

In TINA – The Tina Turner Musical you will hear all her big hits, like ‘Nutbush city limits’, ‘Private dancer’, ‘What’s love got to do with it’ and ‘The best’. The musical is written by Olivier Award winner Katori Hall and directed by internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd.

Spoken/Sung language: Of course all famous hits of Tina Turner will be performed in TINA – The Tina Turner Musical. If the songs serve to tell the story, they will be sung in a Dutch translation. The songs that are brought as a concert/performance are sung in English.
